Fun With Daddy

David took a new job in Birmingham the beginning of September. He was here for an extended weekend. On Monday we took Lauren to the Bass Pro Shop here in Jackson. She got to see Santa but was not thrilled with sitting on his lap. She like Mrs. Claus though and all the four-wheeler and things that Daddy liked. Here are some pictures from the day.

Decking The Halls

We finally got up our Christmas decorations tonight. The kids are having fun getting out the ornaments. I get a new ornament for everyone each year. They usually come from Hallmark.

The theme is something of interest or a milestone in each person life. Here are some pictures from the evening. Hope everyone is enjoying this wonderful time of year.

Well,

I have not done very well since starting this blog! Our family is in the middle of a change. We will be returning to Alabama. We moved from there with a new job for my husband 6 years ago and now we are returning. I hope to get on a regular blog schedule soon. I love the idea of this, being able to record days events as they happen and sharing ideas and beliefs. Here is a picture from our trip to the coast. The kids had a blast in the sand but the devastation is still all around. Hope to put more updates and pics soon.

Off To The Shore

Well, today after church we are driving down to the coast of Mississippi. Even though I grew up visiting relatives here in Clinton, Ms and elsewhere around the state, I have never been to the coast. People have said to me, "Oh, you should have seen it before the hurricane."and I'm sure that is true. I love old houses and the stories that accompany them. I will update when we return with pictures.
Till then....

Setting Up

Maybe it wasn't smart to start this at this time but you know what they say"There is no time like the present" I am still trying to figure out how to setup the blog page and also preparing materials to homeshool my old child, Wil. I have read several blogs from homeschool moms and am looking forward to this time. I also have a seven year old girl, Anna Brooke and a 19mth old girl, Lauren, so life is full of fun and surprises!!

Well, I have recently been introduced to the world of blogging so I thought I'd give it a shot. I for some time, like many others, have children and wanted to document our time as it passes so fast. Let's hope I have success at setting up the site.
